ـ استهداف الشباب وتعريفهم بالبدائل الموضوعية والنتائج المادية والمعنوية التى تقدمها الدولة الوطنية الموحدة، ومن خلال تعزيز ثقتهم بأنفسهم وفي مستقبلهم الواعد في ظلها (علميا وتقنيا وسياسيا واجتماعيا واقتصاديا).
ـ نشر الوعي بخطورة التغيُّرات السلبية (اقتصاديا واجتماعيا وصحيا ونفسيا) التي تسببها الصراعات المسلحة وكيفية التعامل معها لتخفيض حدة أثارها. وانعكاسات ذلك على الأجيال القادمة.
ـ كشف العلاقات الطفيلية بين العنف والخوف والفقر وانعدام الأمن والإرهاب وعدم الاستقرار وخطورة العودة للديكتاتورية العسكرية على تعميق تلك العلاقات الفاسدة في المجتمع وتدمير مستقبل الدولة المدنية.
ـ الربط بين ما يمكن تسميته بـ “التيار الوطني الديمقراطي لبناء الدولة المدنية” و تعزيز الحوار البناء والتعاون بين مكوناته داخل البلاد وخارجها، لملء الفراغ التي يعاني منه المشهد السياسي، وبالتالي المساهمة في التحول الديمقراطي، وبناء الجسور مع المنظمات المدنية في دول الجوار وفي الجوار الأفريقي والأوروبي والمجتمع الدولي.
نشاطات المركز
تستهدف نشاطات المركز، الشباب الليبي (من الجنسين) وبالتركيز خاصة على الناشطين والطلاب والعمال والقادة المحليين والمربّين والأئمة ونشطاء منظمات المجتمع المدني وأبناء القبائل والأقليات والمكونات الاجتماعية المختلفة.
وتشمل نشاطات المركز وظائف وبرامج منها ما يلي:
ـ بناء شبكات التواصل بين الكتاب والأكاديميين والمحللين والمدونين داخل وخارج البلاد.
ـ استضافة وإدارة برامج تدريب وورش العمل يدعى لها مهنيون وناشطون ورجال أعمال لتعزيز دور المنظمات المهنية في مشروع إعادة بناء الدولة المدنية.
ـ إقامة حوارات وبرامج تدريبية تستهدف منظمات شبابية وتشكيلات قبلية ومناطقية لتعزيز ثقافة بناء الدولة عبر المصالحة المجتمعية والوحدة الوطنية.
ـ التعاون مع نشطاء منظمات مشابهة لإقامة دورات لكسب المهارات القيادية للمساهمة في بناء التحالفات لتعزيز مشروع المصالحة الوطنية والعدالة الانتقالية.
ـ يرتب المركز محاضرات وندوات تعالج القضايا ذات الصلة بالإنتقال الديمقراطي تستهدف قيادات ونشطاء في أحزاب سياسية، ومنظمات مجتمع مدني.
ـ إجراء استطلاعات للرأي ودراسات استقصائية لقياس اتجاهات الرأي العام الليبي حول القضايا ذات الصلة بالمصالحة الوطنية والديمقراطية الانتقالية وإعادة بناء الدولة.
ـ التعاون مع المؤسسات الأكاديمية في الجامعات الليبية لتسهيل جمع البيانات وتحليلها، فضلا عن نشر نتائج الدراسات الاستقصائية في تقارير دورية.
